Tomoko Kiriyama  

I'm a film maker based in Golden Bay, New Zealand. I have been working with the Japanese TV documentary series "Travel Salad" (a program about world travel) for many years. While filming for the program in New Zealand, I fell in love with the beauty of New Zealand and I  became determined to move here.  In 2016, I established my film company here and started making short films about New Zealand's nature and culture.  In 2019 I  received a documentary award at the "All Shorts Film Festival" in Golden Bay.

​My goal is to produce and create stories interwoven with the beauty of our Earth for future generations. The intricacies of life are unfolding around us constantly. These breathtaking and touching moments, thoughts, acts of wisdom and passion, weave images of numerous stories that exist in the "here and now" and are filled with miracles.

I hope to share my loving vision and caring heart for our beautiful planet Earth.
